BUFFY

3/14/08: This little girl is Buffy. She came from a shelter in Georgia just yesterday. We don't know much about her yet except that she's an absolute sweetheart and loves giving hugs. We do know that she has sarcoptic mange, so we're treating that. Buffy is a cream brushcoat. She has quite a bit of hair loss right now, but we know she will be gorgeous when her hair grows back.

3/24/08: Can you just see the personality oozing out of this little girl? She is so bubbly and full of herself, but she is so well behaved. She loves her crate (actually it's a condo) and that's good because she's in isolation because she has kennel cough. She's getting better and better each day so soon she'll be able to run and play with the other dogs.

6/9/08: Little Miss Buffy is still waiting for her perfect home. She's thinking she's been here long enough sharing space with so many other peibies. Are you the right family for Buffy?

9/24/08: Buffy seems to be afraid of some men and reacts by barking and growling. Once she is introduced and has had a chance to get to know the person, she's fine; and she's very smart. She'll remember that man if she sees him again. This problem will take some special attention by Buffy's new family.

We require that a home visit by a volunteer be done prior to adoption. The purpose of the home visit is to ensure that the information given during the adoption process is correct and that the home is the right match for the dog being adopted. The home visit also gives adopters a chance to ask questions about the adoption process.

The adoption fee for Buffy is $225, which helps to offset the cost of her medical care.

If you have trouble filling out our application, please let us know and we will be happy to provide you with an application via email or "snail" mail.
