SashaLeigh - Adoption Pending

8/26/2016: SashaLeigh is not your typical Pei, but we love her anyway. She came to us from the shelter in Columbia TN and she was very near her euthanasia date when we were able to get her out. We know she's not purebred, but she's so sweet.

Here's what her foster mom says about her:

Sasha is such a sweetheart! She had NO training when she arrived at her foster home, but has definitely improved and is still improving. She wasn’t house broken and knew no basic commands. I don’t know if she’d ever even been in a house before coming here. She is totally potty trained now and can sit on command.

She is heartworm + and is being treated.

Sasha loves everybody. She’s currently in a foster home with 4 other dogs and now that she feels safe, she shows no aggression toward any of the other dogs.In fact, she plays nice with them. SHE IS NOT GOOD WITH CATS!...unless the cats could never be in contact with her, she thinks they’d be tasty. She is super soft, and still learning how good life can be with lots of love. She loves attention! She will almost demand to be petted. She's LOVES her people!!

Sasha will do whatever you do - chill, hike, whatever. She just wants to please.

SashaLeigh is current on her vaccinations, spayed and is microchipped.

If you you'd like to give SashaLeigh her forever home, you can fill out the adoption application right here on this website. You know you want to!! :-)

Back to adopton pageWe require that a home visit by a volunteer be done prior to adoption. The purpose of the home visit is to ensure that the information given during the adoption process is correct and that the home is the right match for the dog being adopted. The home visit also gives adopters a chance to ask questions about the adoption process.

The adoption fee for SashaLeigh is $200, which helps to offset the cost of her medical care.

If you have trouble filling out our application, please let us know and we will be happy to provide you with an application via email.
