Caesar

1/23/2010: Caesar is wondering what in the world all this white stuff is. You see, he's in his new home in New Hampshire with his new parents, Here's what they say about him:

He's absolutely beautiful; we're very happy. He was very nervous getting off the transport, and it took about an hour before he stopped shaking. We guess that this was his first experience with a lot of snow (we have about 1 foot of new snow this week), he jumped right in and buried his nose coming up all white. We have let him sleep and have kept him calm for most of the afternoon. Steve

1/24/2010: Cindy, he's doing great, 30 hours in the house with no accidents. Made it through the night on a dog bed and was sitting there waiting for us when we woke. We borrowed a cage to sleep in, but he's not going to need it. New experiences include going up and down stairs (does not like but learning) going to the bathroom on a leash, and meeting other dogs when on the leash (acts tougher than he is) . There's a spot on the couch that he calls his own, unless we get up and he takes our spot. He hasn't left my side since he arrived. Tomorrow morning we visit the vet. Steve

2/7/2010: Caesar had a little problem soon after getting to NH. He swallowed the end of a hard rubber chew toy and had to spend the night in the hospital. Poor guy! He fine now, thank goodness. He needs to learn what to swallow and what not to swallow!

2/24/2010: Cindy, we wanted to give you an update on Caesar! He is absolutely the most amazingly intelligent young dog. He is number 1 in his obedience class at the University of Pet Smart. He has been photographed for LL Bean demonstrating how comfortable their beds are. We want to thank you for the obvious loving care you gave from the start, we could not have asked for anything more perfect. Cindy
